Summer 2008, two DECS supported computer labs were upgraded. All forty-two seats in 1312 EB received new computers. The new machines have Intel Core 2 Duo processors running at 3.0GHz, two gigabytes of RAM, and an updated Nvidia Quadro graphics card. Civil and Environmental Engineering's Transportation Lab, room 3560, was also upgraded. Nine seats in this lab received new machines. In addition to having some of the computers upgraded, all of the monitors in the Transportation Lab were replaced with 19" Dell Flat panel LCD monitors. These upgrades are part of an ongoing effort by DECS to ensure that all engineering students have up-to-date equipment available to them throughout the building.
